Full Membership
Full membership of the ICHP PGA entitles you to all the benefits of being a member of the ICHP PGA, including:

Permission to use our name, logo and the letters MICHP

Support and protection for you and your practice
Full Voting rights within the ICHP PGA

When you apply to become a full member of the ICHP PGA, we ask you to show us that you have the knowledge, skills and understanding to be a competent, ethical and caring professional hypnotherapist, by providing evidence that you have completed an accredited course.

Full Membership is €200 per year.

Student Membership
Student membership is available to students currently enrolled in an accredited hypnotherapy training course, and entitles you to the following benefits:

Subscription to The Hypnoanalyst
Preferential Student Insurance rates.
Support and protection for you as you train
Access to online resources
Monthly newsletter
Discount to our annual conference

Student membership is €50 for one year, after which time you will either need to upgrade to Full Membership or switch to an Associate Membership.
Being a Student does not confer voting rights, allow the use of the ICHP PGA name, logo or any membership grade letters.

The student insurance policy and membership gives cover for case study work and any practical work necessary to complete their qualification.

The student should always tell their client that they are still a student, and any remuneration they receive for the treatment should solely cover the cost of their overheads – so no profit to be made until they qualify.

Associate Membership (non-practising)
Associate membership is available to anyone with an interest in Hypnotherapy. The only exception would be anyone who has been previously expelled from the ICHP PGA or who is deemed by the Association to be likely to bring the Association into disrepute.
Being an associate entitles you to the following benefits:

Associate membership is €100 per year. Being an Associate does not imply endorsement, confer voting rights, nor allow the use of the ICHP PGA name, logo or any membership grade letters.

As a member you will be agreeing to abide our Code of Ethics, Standards and Practices.

All practicing members are required to have insurance, when you join you will have access to the insurance forms required to get cover. See here for Membership Benefits.

(To become an Accredited member of ICHP PGA, you must have 500 hours in professional practice, and have fulfilled the CPD and Supervision requirements for those 500 hours.)
